In a gripping encounter at Montezuma High School on November 28, the Montezuma Bravettes faced a challenging game against the Lynnville-Sully Hawks, ultimately falling short with a score of 46-52. Despite a robust performance, Montezuma couldn’t overcome Lynnville-Sully’s consistent lead.

Key players for Montezuma included Ellen Cook, who scored 12 points, and Vivian Cook, who added 11 points to the team’s tally. Shiressa Wetering also stood out with 10 points and led the team with five rebounds.

Montezuma showcased resilience, particularly in the final quarter where they outscored Lynnville-Sully 18-10, but it wasn’t enough to clinch a victory.
