The Mahaska Health Partnership Cancer Care and Infusion Center’s Annual Christmas Basket Auction raised $1,142

Oskaloosa — The Mahaska Health Partnership Cancer Care and Infusion Center’s Annual Christmas Basket Auction raised $1,142. This year’s proceeds were designated to benefit New Hope Community, Inc., a community center located in the old Jefferson School Building in Oskaloosa that provides children and family programs in an economically depressed area where no other supervised activities are available to the neighborhood. They serve between 65 and 80 children in the morning and provide after school programs. Shown at the check presentation are, from left CCIS nurse Sally Blake, New Hope Community Center Director Leslie Rice, and CCIC Nurse Sandy Long. CCIC staff said they would like to thank everyone who donated baskets and/or placed bids in the auction. Your generosity is truly appreciated!
