McCartie Hired As Child Care Director

The Mahaska County YMCA is proud to announce the hiring of Meagan McCartie as the new Child Care Director effective January 2, 2018. Meagan has worked for the Y for seven years in a number of capacities, most recently as the Site Director for Kids Corner and Billing Clerk for the Child Care Department.

Meagan is a graduate of Indian Hills Community College and William Penn University. She holds a BA in K-6 Elementary with a Reading and Special Education Endorsement. Meagan recently added an Early Childhood Endorsement (Infant-Third Grade) in regular and Special Education from Northwestern College to her professional license.

Child Care is an important offering for the Mahaska County YMCA and important to the Mahaska community. We are excited to have Meagan lead this important department to continue to offer a safe and quality child care experience for the residents of our community.
