The Mahaska County YMCA is restructuring the Mahaska Early Learning Program rates.

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Mahaska County YMCA is restructuring the Mahaska Early Learning Program rates. The restructure includes increased flexibility for families needing part-time care as well as a 2% increase in rates due to rising costs. “Families use drop-in and part-time care whenever they can,” said Dawn Collins, Executive Director. “The new structure allows increase flexibility for families who want part-time care. Our former structure offered more choices in pricing structures but did not offer the scheduling flexibility families often needed.” The Y will continue to offer the Child Watch program for families working out while at the Y during the hours of 9-11 am and 4-7 pm.

Child care and preschool is offered at the YMCA, Kids’ Corner in University Park and Webster Preschool. After school programming is offered at the Oskaloosa Elementary School.
