Mahaska County Primary Election Results: Key Highlights

The Mahaska County primary elections concluded with notable results across various races.

U.S. Representative (Republican)

Marianne Miller-Meeks secured 598 votes, while David Paustian received 524 votes.

U.S. Representative (Democrat)

Christina Bohannan garnered 125 votes.

State Senator District 27 (Republican)

Adrian Dickey led with 702 votes.

State Representative District 37 (Republican)

Barb Kniff McCulla accumulated 250 votes.

State Representative District 88 (Republican)

Helena Hayes achieved 736 votes.

Board of Supervisors

Mark Groenendyk (Republican) earned 658 votes compared to Brendan Terpstra’s (Republican) 485 votes.

Mahaska County Sheriff

Russ Van Renterghem had 1026 votes.

Mahaska County Treasurer

Shauna Hol with 1012 votes in the primary.
