Mahaska County 4-H’ers developed non-livestock (static) entries to be judged among over 3000 exhibits in the 4-H Exhibits Building at the Iowa State Fair. Having an exhibit selected to exhibit at the state fair is an honor.

“Exhibits at the Iowa State Fair demonstrate that 4-H’ers set goals for themselves and work to meet those goals throughout the year and their Exhibits celebrate accomplishments and provide a showcase to share with the public what was learned.” said Mitch Hoyer, 4-H youth development program specialist.

“4-H exhibits at the Iowa State Fair show the accomplishments of 4-H’ers. Having an exhibit selected for the Iowa State Fair is an honor for the 4-H’ers,” said Hoyer. “Exhibits celebrate the accomplishments of 4-H’ers and provide a showcase to share what was learned with the public.”
