Mahaska Chamber Bringing Back Social Mixers

The Mahaska Chamber & Development Group Diplomats are happy to bring back their social events, formerly known as Business After Hours, with a new name Mahaska Mixer. William Penn University Health & Life Science Center is the host for the event to be held Thursday, November 4 from 4-6 pm.
William Penn University has recently completed their Health & Life Science Center. The 3rd floor of the Penn Activity Center (PAC) is now a showcase of classrooms, offices, and laboratories. Marcia Riordan, VP of Advancement at William Penn shared, “The new science facilities; with the completion of five new laboratories this summer: Chemistry, Microbiology/Biochemistry, Anatomy/Physiology, Nursing Skills and Nursing Simulation labs, will aid in the growing need to educate students in STEM-related fields, an overwhelming need in the workforce.”
Chamber members, employees and families are invited to attend this Mahaska Mixer and enjoy refreshments, door prizes and mixing with one another while celebrating the expansion at William Penn.
