GRINNELL, IA — The Loras College women’s volleyball team secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Grinnell College on Friday night at Darby Gymnasium. The Duhawks displayed dominance throughout the match, claiming each set by scores of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-23.
Grinnell fought valiantly, keeping the contest close in the second and third sets, but Loras’s offensive firepower and solid defense proved too much to handle. The Duhawks improved to 11-3 on the season, while Grinnell fell to 8-5.

Loras was led by standout performances from Sophie Younkin and Cat Meyer. Younkin recorded 11 kills and 9 digs, contributing significantly both offensively and defensively. Meyer added 8 kills and 5 blocks, providing crucial support at the net.
