Learn How to Play Disc Golf

The Mahaska County Conservation Board and the Oskaloosa Disc Golf Club is offering an evening Disc Golf class on Friday, June 24th from 6:00-7:00 pm to teach interested participants how to play disc golf. We will meet in the parking lot behind the Environmental Learning Center at Caldwell Park which is the location of a new 18-hole disc golf course.

This is a free event and no experience or equipment is needed. Participants (all ages) will learn about the variety of discs used by players, how to throw a disc, and play the game. The Oskaloosa Disc Golf Club will have discs available for everyone to use.
