Oskaloosa–For the second time this fall, Marcus Kerrigan (Sr., Cary, Ill., Sociology) was honored as a Player of the Week by Beyond Sports Network.

Kerrigan scored all six points for the Statesmen football team in last Saturday’s 12-6 setback to #14 Saint Xavier. He connected on both of his field goals, making attempts of 21 and 42 yards. The senior also punted eight times for an average of 38.9 yards (long of 66) in addition to three kickoffs that averaged 58.7 yards.

For the year, Kerrigan has scored 37 points with his leg, going 19-for-22 in extra points and 6-for-14 in field goals. He owns a 37.5-yard punt average and a 56.7-yard kickoff average (12 touchbacks).
