Oskaloosa–The lights will be shining very brightly on Marcus Kerrigan (Cary, Ill., Sociology) this fall as his senior campaign has opened with some high accolades by being named to the College Football America Preseason All-America team.

The team is part of CFA’s 2013 Yearbook Encyclopedia that covers 919 college football teams in the U.S. and Canada over its 454 pates.

A two-time first-team all-Midwest League placekicker, Kerrigan was 33-of-39 in extra points and 12-of-14 in field goals last season. He was a four-time MWL Special Teams Player of the Week and broke the single-season field goal mark at WPU.

Kerrigan also owns the program’s career marks with 129 extra points and 24 field goals and the single-season mark for extra points (48, twice).
