Kathleen Siragusa, 66, of Oskaloosa passed away at the MHP Hospital in Oskaloosa, Iowa on Thursday, January 7, 2021. She was born July 19, 1954, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Lawrence and Mildred Hardy Shearer.
Kathleen graduated in New York with the class of 1972.
Following High School, Kathleen worked at Buffalo China making table service for restaurants, then various jobs until moving to Iowa. Kathleen worked several years at the MHP Hospital in Oskaloosa and retired from the hospital in 2015. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and games on the computer, visiting with friends and walking in the Mall.
Her family includes her sister-in-law and close friend, Jeneane Shearer-Williams of Des Moines; close friends, Penny Olson-Linville and Janie Sidebottom; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Dennis Shearer and Larry Shearer.
As was Kathleen wish, her body will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
