OSKALOOSA, IA— Everyone’s favorite first grader is back to celebrate the Holidays in her own special way!
The beloved characters from the Junie B. Jones series come to life onstage with this holiday-themed show. All the students in Room One are happily creating the perfect holiday party… except how is Junie B. supposed to enjoy anything when she has drawn the name of her nemesis, Tattletale May, for her Secret Santa Gift? But wait – the Secret Santa gift is the perfect opportunity to give May exactly what she deserves… maybe. Holiday fun, with a lesson about giving, is a perfect treat for the holiday season!
In addition, area students will be bussed into enjoy a free school performance. They will experience the full show and take home an important lesson about giving for the holiday season.
There’s still more to see in the new year! Missoula Children’s Theatre will showcase 60 local students on January 19 in “King Arthur’s Quest” and the season ends on March 27 with Ted Vigil’s John Denver Musical Tribute. The Youth Theatre also will offer a new session of after-school camps in 2019.
