Joy Rouse at What’s Up Wednesdays

The Mahaska County Extension office will be hosting Joy Rouse, Family Life Specialist at “What’s Up Wednesdays – Lunch and Learn” this Wednesday March 6; 11:45 am – 1:15 pm. At What’s Up Wednesday, ISUEO specialists and county staff will be available for informal conversations each Wednesday March – May. Bring your own lunch, have your questions answered, and join the conversation! Possible topics may include early childhood and aging.

Joy has both a BS and MS from Iowa State University. She has been with Extension for 30 years starting as a county home economist, then a county extension director and now as a Human Sciences Specialist, Family Life. She works with family topics from birth to aging.

Attendees would not need to attend the entire hour and half session. What’s up Wednesday is open to the public, and there is no cost to attend, and registration is not be required; but appreciated. Only registered attendees will be directly notified if the case of cancellations. To register please phone 641-673-5841 or email striegel@iastate.edu.
