John Rauch, 48, of Ottumwa, died Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa. John was born on Tuesday, June 17, 1969, in Oskaloosa, the son of Pat and Connie Boomershine Lefolette.

John graduated from the Oskaloosa High School with the Class of 1988.

Following graduation, John worked various factory jobs.

John had a love for cars.

He is survived by his two brothers: Jamie Rauch and Jacob Rauch both of Oskaloosa; a niece, Zoey Rauch; a nephew, Emerson Rauch; and a significant other, Cheryl Kent of Ottumwa.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Rauch- Lefolette.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Pastor Alvern Boetsma officiating.
As was his wish, John’s body will be cremated following the service. No burial is planned at this time.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 12 P.M. until service time at 2 P.M. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with the family present at the funeral chapel Saturday during that time to greet friends and relatives.
