Jarvis Earns NAIA Scholar-Athlete Laurel

Oskaloosa–Jonathan Jarvis (Sr., Burlington, Iowa, Business Management) was honored for his excellence in the classroom as he was named a 2023-2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Monday.

Jarvis, who is a first-time recipient of the award, owned a 3.52 Grade Point Average entering the spring semester.

A total of 380 men’s golfers from within the NAIA were awarded the laurel.

To be eligible for the award, athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, have attended the nominating institution for one full year prior to nomination, and must appear on the sport’s eligibility paperwork.
