ISU Extension & Outreach of Mahaska County Presents… Next Level Leadership!

Cedar Rapids, IA (May 28, 2013) – ActionCOACH Heartland announced their first year partnership with the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Mahaska Country office in Oskaloosa. Heartland presents the “Next Level Leadership” series for the local business community, which includes five “leadership workshops” starting in June and running through November.
“We are excited to work with the ISU Extension office by offering leadership training for professionals, businesses and their employees; this program is open to anyone,” said David Drewelow, head coach for the Heartland team. “Our firm specializes in serving businesses by providing certified leadership programs from the John Maxwell Team, a global leadership training company.”
ActionCOACH Heartland is affiliated with two industry leaders; ActionCOACH in business coaching and The John Maxwell Team in leadership training. Heartland has 10 offices in Iowa and Nebraska is looking to open a local training office in Southern Iowa by the end of this year.
“We believe that this partnership with ActionCOACH Heartland aligns with our purpose to serve our business and industry in this area. Heartland offers a certified leadership program, which we see as a great benefit,” said Natalie Spray, program coordinator for Mahaska County Extension. “Our series covers five leadership areas including communication, influence, personal growth, relationships and life planning.”
The “Next Level Leadership” series kicks off with the first workshop on June 26th entitled “Everyone Communicates Few Connect.” All participants receive a ‘Leadership Training Certificate’ upon completion of the series. Watch for more details from the extension office.
