Indians Volleyball Season Ends At Clear Creek-Amana
by Coach Jennifer Comfort
The 2018 season came to a close last night for the Oskaloosa Volleyball team with a Regional Semi-Final loss to Clear Creek-Amana 14-25, 21-25, 21-25. After a slow start, the Indians were in a tight battle with the Clippers. The teams exchanged many long rallies and played some great volleyball in front of a large, supportive crowd of faithful Indian fans. We knew we were in for a battle and the girls played well and executed the game plan. I was proud of our effort and level of competition from the entire team.
With the loss, seniors Ashley Drost, Lindsey Holmberg, and Emma Kelderman end their volleyball careers. They have worked hard over the years and made their mark on the Oskaloosa Volleyball program. We are all thankful for their dedication and leadership.
