Indians Take Top Spot At Beaver Creek Golf Course

The Oskaloosa Indians were in action on Tuesday at Beeaver Creek Golf Course in Grimes, Iowa, where they defeated conference foe Dallas Center – Grimes.

Oskaloosa head coach Bret Foster said, “The boys got a meet in after a few days of not much practice. We were a little rusty but managed to get a couple wins. We need to clean up our putting. We are now 4-0 in conference and could wrap up a conference title Thursday if we can beat Pella and Grinnell. They both beat us on Friday so it will be a good challenge for us.”

Spencer Tucker shot low score of the meet with a 37. Austin Hafner shot a 42, with Hogan Rockhold scoring a 43, and Noah Van Veldhuizen a 47. The Indians had a 169 over all, with DCG shooting a 175.

Derek Shanno was team leader for DCG, shooting a 41, with Keegan Bianchi shooting a 42.
