Indians Show Promise In Last Tune Up Before District Meet

Monday the Boys’ track and field team traveled to Pella for one last tune up before the state-qualifying district meet Thursday. The team had 19 new PR bests and 2 season best relays times on the night.

Top finishers were the Shuttle Hurdle team of Jaden VanRoekel, Reed Brown, Nik Dykstra, and Dylan VanLeuven winning the event and the 4×100 team of Jaden VanRoekel, Dylan VanLeuven, Seth Howard, and Casey Hill earning 2nd with a new season best time. Both relays were season best times for the Indians.

The Indians head back to Pella Thursday for our state-qualifier meet where the top 2 places are auto qualifiers and the next 8 marks from around the state on that night.
