Game #1

Walk-Off Seals Win For Norwalk Against Indians

A walk-off left the Indians on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat to Norwalk on Monday. The game was tied at two with Norwalk batting in the bottom of the ninth when Wardlow drew a walk, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Norwalk pitchers struck out ten, while the Indians sat down ten.

The Indians got things moving in the second inning, when Kaiden Parker singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Indians tied things up at two. The Indians scored one run when Caden Johnson singled.

Jaden DeRonde led things off on the hill for the Indians. The righty surrendered two runs on seven hits over five and a third innings, striking out four. Linus Morrison and Johnson entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and one inning respectively.

Maddux Ashman, Johnson, and Parker each managed one hit to lead the Indians.

Game #2

Indians Take 6-2 Victory Over Norwalk

The Indians defeated Norwalk 6-2 on Monday.

The Indians tallied three runs in the fifth inning. The Indians scored its runs on an RBI error by Dane Vanmersbergen.

Griffin Snitker led the Indians to victory on the pitcher’s mound. Snitker went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out four and walking one. Maddux Maxwell threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Cary took the loss for Norwalk. Cary went five innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out three.

Grady Kool went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Indians in hits. The Indians didn’t commit a single error in the field. Trey Parks had the most chances in the field with nine.
