Indians Fall To Bondurant-Farrar

The Oskaloosa Volleyball team lost a tough match against Bondurant-Farrar last night 18-25, 22-25, 11-25. The first half of the match was a pretty even fight with the teams trading points with tough serving and long rallies. Leading 21-18 in the 2nd set, Josie injured her head while diving for a ball and was removed from the game for medical attention. (She is doing well, no lingering issues and likely no concussion, but we will be cautious with her). The girls re-grouped and kept fighting, but were unable to score enough points against a strong Bluejay team. I was impressed with how the girls continued to compete and work to score. The 3rd set score may not show it, but the team did a lot of good things and extended rallies, we were just unable to score points. We learned a lot about the team tonight and saw a lot of improvement. We will continue to progress and develop as the season continues.
