Indians Compete At Competitive Saydel Invitational

by Coach Mike Sterner

The boys track and field team was back in action Thursday at a very competitive AND WINDY invitational. We were proud of how our young men competed after a quick turn around from Tuesday’s meet in Fairfield. Tonight ‘s highlights include Casey Hill winning the Discus with a new PR of 156’ 2″ and the Distance Medley and 4×400 teams leaving the other 14 teams in the rearview mirror. The D Med team of Aaron Blom, Casey Hill, Brayden VanKampen, and Carter Huyser won with a new season-best time of 3:41.34 and the 4×400 quartet of Brayden VanKampen, Iszac Schultz, Aaron Blom, and Carter Huyser also ran well with a new season best of 3:30.87.

Next week we run at Mid-Prairie Tuesday and Thursday at Newton. Results are attached.
