The guys played awesome today. I am very proud of this group for accomplishing their goals. They worked really hard for this and they earned everything they got! Spencer led the way, battling back from a tough start. Austin also started a little rough on his first hole but then put together a great round. Noah had his all-time low score easily and really was a big key for us. He showed a ton of composure and competitiveness in his round. Rian battled through a few tough holes and finished not quite where they wanted but still quality rounds. All the guys grinded through their rounds under stressful conditions and I’m very proud of all of them.

Spencer Tucker shot a 71, with Austin Hafner scoring a 76. Noah Van Veldhuizen shot a 77 and Rian Yates an 85. Hogan Rockhold had an 88.

Lucas Scher of Grinnell had the best round of golf, with a 69.

Oskaloosa defeated the three ranked teams of Grinnell, Washington, and Pella to advance to state.
