Oskaloosa, Iowa – On a typically quiet residential street in Oskaloosa, a family worked away, getting ready to share their holiday spirit with their friends and neighbors.

Did we mention that the family invited the whole community to drive by and take in the outdoor light display?

On November 25th, the day after Thanksgiving, they flipped the switch on for their holiday light show.

For the Steinlages, sharing that joy of the season has also started to become a tradition with them. They dress up as the famous couple from the North Pole, and their kids dress up and participate.

Cars stream by their home, and they hand out goodie bags to the first 100 visitors of the season.

Jodi Steinlage said about their display. “We loved getting to see people of all ages with huge smiles on their faces as they drove through. We do this to hopefully bring some extra Christmas cheer to all who drive by, and tonight, the smiles make all the hours worth it!”
