Pella, Iowa – The MH4H Color Blast 5K is back this September 23rd, making it the 5th year for the fun run/walk. The annual run combines a 5k run/walk while participants pass through 5 different color stations in Pella, getting blasted with vivid colors.

The run has moved to a brand new location this year, starting and finishing at Trinity Reformed Church in Pella. During the run, KCWN 99.9 will be hosting a live broadcast from the race, with some great giveaways planned. After runners finish, they can continue having a blast, enjoying free inflatables, food, and music. There will also be a free photo-booth for participants to capture the fun of the day.
“This run is about bringing the community together for a memorable day of fun, all while serving a greater purpose of changing lives. It is also a reminder of how important working together as a community is. We become better as we work together, no matter the cause,” said Tim Brand, Many Hands for Haiti Executive Director.
Each runner will receive a race kit, which includes a race shirt, sunglasses, coupons, color packets, and other great merchandise.
As a fun run, the race will not be timed. However, prizes will be given to the “most colorful” male and female participants at the end of the race.

All proceeds from the MH4H Color Blast 5K will be used to fund ministry purposes for MH4H, which include children’s education, spiritual development, food and farming programs, home rebuilding, medical services, and economic development opportunities.

The race starts at 9am on September 23rd at Trinity Reformed Church, 407 Franklin St. Pella, IA. If you are interested in joining in the fun, visit www.mh4h.org/colorblast to register now.
