GRINNELL’S OLDACH NAMED MIDWEST CONFERENCE WOMEN’S SOCCER DFFENSIVE PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Katy Oldach ’16, a 5-7 keeper from Oak Park, Ill. (Oak Park River Forest), has been named the Midwest Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week.

Oldach was flawless as the Pioneers posted two shutouts over league teams last weekend. She recorded four saves in a 3-0 victory over Illinois College and 10 saves in a 1-0 win over Cornell College as Grinnell remained perfect in MWC play at 3-0. All three of Grinnell’s league wins have been shutouts.

Oldach leads the conference in saves percentage at .863 and is third in goals against average at 0.99.

The MWC Offensive Performer of the Week was Nina Perkkio of Lake Forest College.
