GRINNELL’S DALTON NAMED MIDWEST CONFERENCE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY PERFORMER OF THE WEEK FOR 2ND TIME

GRINNELL, Iowa – For the second time this season, Grinnell College’s Adam Dalton ’16 has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week.

Dalton, from Mason City, Iowa (Newman), ran the 21st-fastest time in Pioneer program history at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana College.

Dalton had a clocking of 25:34.1 on the 8-kilometer course to place 16th in a field of 532 runners. His time ranks first in the MWC, 33 seconds ahead of the next-best runner.

The women’s MWC Performer of the Week was Sam Martinez of Cornell College.
