Greg Six, 45, of Cedar, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Mahaska Health Hospital.
Gregory Earl Six, son of Paul E. and Karen M. (Krusemark) Six, was born on May 17, 1977, in Keosauqua, Iowa.

Greg’s family moved to Independence, Missouri, where he spent his younger years, and then to Northglenn, Colorado, where he was a 1995 graduate from Northglenn High School.

Greg entered the Army in July 1998 as an Information Systems Operator and Analyst. He found his niche in the IT world while in the Army. Greg also particiated in the Honor Guard presenting Military Honors to deceased veterans. After his discharge from the Army in December 2000, he worked for Epiq Systems in Kansas City and Miami as a Client Services Representative, later at ICE Technologies Inc. in Pella, and concluded his career with Research Consultants in Omaha, Nebraska.

Greg was dedicated to his son, Maximo Paul Six. He was a loving father and enjoyed fishing, camping, playing video games, and watching the Chiefs games with Maximo.

Greg’s family includes his son, Maximo; his mother, Karen Six; Maximo’s mother, Marelia Macias; his siblings: Paul Six Jr., Colleen Swisher, Michelle Six; and extended family: Sharon (& Lynn) Leazer, Jill Krusemark, and Danny Kaufman.

He was preceded in death by his father; an aunt, Vickie Kaufman; and an uncle, Danny Krusemark.

As he wished, his body has been cremated, and his ashes will be buried at the Tioga Cemetery later.
