Gnimocemoh Week

Gnimocemoh (Homecoming spelled backward) is from January 14th-18th this year. We will be having dress-up days all week, with Friday being Spirit Day! Activities start with “Osky Games” at the Highschool. Osky Games will be held during school, Monday through Friday, with freshman competing in games on Monday, sophomores on Tuesday, juniors on Wednesday, seniors on Thursday, and the finalists on Friday! Also during the week, Tuesday holds girls and boys basketball away at different locations. Girls will travel to Bondurant-Farrar and boys will travel to Chariton! Stay busy on Thursday with boys swimming traveling to Indianola, wrestling in Indianola, and boys 9th and JV basketball at home at 4:45! Finish off the GREAT week on Friday with lots of activities! To kick off Friday, attend the home bowling meet at Mahaska Bowling Alley at 3 pm! Then bring your friends and family to the start of the basketball games versus Grinnell. Girls JV will kick off the night at 4:45, with girls varsity starting at 6:15, and boys varsity will follow around 7:45. Also this night, the Oskaloosa Student Council will be holding a free will donation spaghetti supper as a fundraiser! Spaghetti, meatballs, garlic bread, water, and lemonade will start being served at 5:45 in the small gym, and continue through the 1st quarter of the boys game.
