Remember With Love…

Gary Lee Noble, 59, of rural Ottumwa, took rest on January 10, 2021 in University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, IA. Gary Lee Noble was born on November 7, 1961, the son of (Harold) Gene and Josephine Edmondson Noble in Highland Park, IL.

Gary graduated from Clark County High School with the class of 1980.

Gary was currently employed with Walmart in Ottumwa and had been there for the past 15 years. He was loved by so many friends because of his personality.

Throughout Gary’s life he held a desire to help animals and give them a nurturing home with lots of love. Throughout the years, Gary raised many dogs. His day would start and end with Choloe, Zoey, Joey, Bella, and Hattie at his side on the farm.

Gary had a passion for many things in his life. His niece, April Hassman (of Donnellson, IA) and nephew Carson Noble (of Canton, MO) were always a priority in his life. He loved teaching them how to skate, bowl, play games, and taking them out to Pizza Hut and McDonalds. However, when he got his great nephews (Payton and Bryer Stevens; Jaxson, Griffin, and Gibson Noble) they became his world! He also enjoyed planting his large garden and traveling to local farmer’s markets to sell his produce.

In addition to the above listed family. Gary is survived by two brothers, Billie (& Jane) Noble of Canton, MO, Craig (& Wendy) Noble of Arcadia, FL; one sister, Tammi (& Albert) Lines of Joshua, TX; one sister-in-law, Carol (& Frank) Winkler of Keokuk, IA.; his stepfather, Bud Wood; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine Wood and Gene Noble; his brother, Alan Shoup; and his husband, Warren Arendt.
