The brewhouse, set in a carefully renovated historical space, offers a fresh concept aimed at both beer enthusiasts and those looking for a casual, community-focused atmosphere.
Owners have designed Full Bloom to be a place where locals can gather, unwind, and enjoy high-quality craft beer. Their brewing philosophy is deeply rooted in tradition while also offering innovative brews, including farmhouse-style beers and exciting seasonal flavors. The brewing team, passionate about experimentation, has adapted old-world techniques, such as using Lithuanian yeast strains, which allow their beer to ferment at higher temperatures without sacrificing taste.
Full Bloom Brewhouse will serve several core beers, including their signature wheat beer called “Blossom” and a light lager named “Shine.” In addition to their house-brewed offerings, the brewhouse will feature select beers from other Iowa-based breweries, along with wines and ciders. The building itself was once on an apple orchard, and the décor includes original apple crates and vintage bicycles, preserving the rustic charm of the site.
The brewhouse’s location is ideal, situated near the Lacey Recreation Complex and along a bike path, ensuring a steady flow of traffic from both locals and visitors. The establishment also plans to feature a food truck pad, catering to those looking for more diverse dining options.
“We really want to create a space for the community to come together, enjoy local craft beer, and have a good time,” one of the owners explained. The vision for Full Bloom Brewhouse goes beyond just serving drinks—it’s about building a vibrant, welcoming environment where history, community, and craft converge.
