Oskaloosa Indians

The girls’ soccer team had 4 individuals who made the All-Conference team. Kinsey Cook was named 1st team Forward, Aleeya Cheney was 2nd team Mid-Fielder, Brittany DeMoney and Mary Nelson were named Honorable Mention.

We are very proud of the 4 girls that made the All-Conference team. Kinsey being named 1st team All-Conference as a forward is an awesome way to end her career and send her off to college. We will miss her up top next year and he knowledge of the game. Aleeya has made the All-Conference team every year of her high school career. Her scoring was down some this year because of missing several games with an injury, but is a well deserved honor as she is a vital part of our team and we are looking to her next year to cap off her amazing high school career. Brittany has been the rock of the defense the last 3 years and it will be very hard to replace her next year. Even with coming back from a torn ACL, she stepped up and was the defensive leader we needed. Mary stepped into a new position this year and did amazing. We are hoping that she will be able to recovery quickly from a torn ACL in the first round of regionals as she is a vital part to our offensive attack.

Aleeya and Kinsey were also named to the All-District team for the 2A Central team. Aleeya was first team and Kinsey was 2nd team. Again, both deserving honors for their roles and importance for the soccer team.
