Family Presents Handmade Quilts To Veterans

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Community members Joyce and Chuck Webb and their grandson Cole presented personalized homemade quilts to two veterans employed at Mahaska Health.

Mahaska Health currently employs 27 veterans, and 2 vets were selected in a drawing for the quilts held on Veterans Day 2022.

The quilts were gifted to Paula, RN, Inpatient Care & Services, who served in the Army, and Richard, EMT, Emergency Services, who served in the National Guard.

In their comment on social media, Mahaska Health said, “We are so grateful for the Webb’s and their dedication to serving our veterans!”
