Explore Hills Days

Indian Hills

OTTUMWA — Indian Hills Community College has set a number of dates when high school students and adults will be able to visit campus during the current academic year. The college offers individual visits as well as nine Explore Hills Days to provide an introduction to the college for prospective students.

The first of the Explore Hills Days will be Saturday, Sept. 30, when high school juniors and seniors and their parents are invited to the IHCC Ottumwa campus.
“Visiting campus gives students an opportunity to determine if Indian Hills is a good fit for them,” says Chris Bowser, Executive Dean of Student Services at Indian Hills. “During their time on campus students can gather all kinds of information about Indian Hills, and also have the chance to experience the atmosphere of the campus.”

Ranae Molkenthin, Campus Visit and Recruitment Coordinator, says, “On their visit we hope students can picture themselves at Indian Hills and find out what being an Indian Hills student is all about.”

The Explore Hills Days begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration, and conclude around 1:00 p.m. Students and parents are able to schedule individual appointments with staff after the general program ends.

Online registration can be taken care of by contacting admissions@indianhills.edu or those interested in attending can call 641-683-5153.
