COMMENTS
AMAZING team play tonight to win! I am so proud of these girls for how well we played tonight. We had intensity throughout the match and we did the two things I said we had to do to win this match, serve well and pass well! We did that and then some. We controlled the ball all 3 sets along with serving tough that took their best player out of the match. That was a goal we set going into this match was to control their middle. I thought we came up with some huge blocks at times we needed them which fueled that front row to be unstoppable. The take away from this match is that it sets a great tone going into a state match knowing we still can improve in some areas of our play and even get better for the next match on Tuesday. Now we can gear up for our next opponent which is Wapsie Valley at 4 pm at the Xtreem Center in Iowa City.
