COMMENTS
This was a great conference match tonight. We went on a few runs, but couldn’t keep a big gap. Every set was so close. Knoxville’s defense was really quick to the ball and served tough. Being without our starting right side made for some adjustments we needed to get comfortable with. We started off struggling with serve receive and still didn’t pass well throughout the night, but we found ways to score points. A key element we continue to work on in practice. Our energy was high the entire match and we battled back at some crucial times and never let up. I am so proud of the resilience this team has to keep working to win. We are next up at the Ottumwa Tournament on Saturday Sept. 18.
