Dennis Maschmann, 57 of Searsboro, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at his home in Searsboro. Dennis Allen Maschmann, the son of Harvey and Gwen (Robison) Maschmann, was born on July 27, 1957 in Sigourney, Iowa.

Dennis attended school in Millersburg. Denny enjoyed his fish & aquariums, spending time with family and friends and watching his soap operas.

He is survived by his mother, Gwen Maschmann; two brothers: John and Ronny; one sister, Kathy; four sons, Chase (& Lindsey) Maschmann of Brighton, Adam (& Brooke) Maschmann of New Sharon, Daniel (& Raelee) Bird of Brighton and Matthew Maschmann of Osage; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey, in July of 1995 and his brother, Larry, in March of 2009.

As was his wish, his body has been cremated.
A Celebration of Life will be held at his son Adam’s house in New Sharon on Saturday.
