COVID-19 Outbreak At Mahaska County Jail Causing Visitation Suspension

Because of a recent, small outbreak of COVID within our jail, the Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office will be implementing all safety procedures at the Jail that were in place during last year’s pandemic. Because of this, the Sheriff’s Office will be temporarily suspending all inmate visitation. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes however, the safety of our employees and the inmates is of upmost importance to us.
