Clarence “Lee” Feasel, age 88, of Lovilia, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the Monroe County Hospital in Albia, Iowa. Lee was born August 31, 1933, to Lee and Levisia (Dodge) Feasel in Kansas.

Lee grew up attending school in Kansas and at the age of 16, enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country during the Korean War.

Lee married Judy Hamby. Lee and Judy spent 32 years of marriage together and later divorced. Lee then married Zola McCoy and they also later divorced. Lee has spent the past 9 years with Sandra Wade, his significant other.

Lee worked for a shoe factory in Pennsylvania before operating a cleaning service cleaning on naval bases. He was a Baptist preacher for 15 years while also working as a welder and in the shipyards.

He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing his guitar to entertain nursing home residents. He always got his children involved in music and they enjoyed singing karaoke together. Lee had a great sense of humor, loved a good laugh, and was always the life of the party.

Lee is survived by his significant other, Sandra Wade; his children: Penny (Steve) Overstreet, MaLinda (Tom) Hague, Brett (Scott) Feasel, Hope (Jon) Beam, Nathan Feasel, and Jared Feasel; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Levisia; a sister, Mary Newcomb; a niece, Lori Jane; a nephew, Leonard; and a grandson, Justus.

Per Lee’s wishes, his body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.

An open memorial has been established to the family.
