Cindy Lovell, 57, of Oskaloosa died Friday, July 11, 2014, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born November 13, 1956, at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, the daughter of Dennis and Carolyn Fuller Kramer.

Cindy spent most of her childhood in northeast Iowa. She graduated from Vinton High School.

On June 15, 1974, she was united in marriage to Loren Lovell, to this marriage two children were born, Tammy and Patrick.

Cindy drove the 10/15 transit bus in Oskaloosa for the past 21 years. She enjoyed doing genealogy and contributing to “Find a Grave”. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans for her family and friends, and tending to her flower garden. She delighted in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her family includes her significant other of over 22 years, Steve Hols of Oskaloosa; her children: Tammy (Jason) Laton and Patrick (Robyn) Lovell all of Vinton, and Harmony Hols of Ottumwa; seven grandchildren: Gabe, Kate, Brayden, Bryce, Hailey, Chris and Aniston; her father and his wife, Dennis and Jen Kramer of Aplington, Iowa; three sisters and their husbands: Cindy (& Joe) Kitchen of Tripoli, Wisconsin, Brenda (& Rod) Anderson of Aplington, Iowa, and Margie (& Randy) Rompot of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two brothers and their wives: David (& Joyce) Kramer of Phoenix, Arizona and Dennis (& Marty) Kramer of Mt. Vernon; a much loved aunt, Dee Schultz of McGregor, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Kramer.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Pastor Bob Gaston officiating.
Burial will be in the Coal Creek Cemetery southwest of Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will begin Monday after 11 am in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel from 6-8 Monday evening to greet friends and relatives.
Memorials may be made to the Cindy Lovell Memorial Fund.
