Charles “Chuck” Harry Sirovy, 71, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and formerly of Oskaloosa went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 25, 2022, under the care of Asbury Hospice in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Charles was born on December 12, 1950, the son of George J. and Lorraine M. (Luzadder) Sirovy Sr. in Cook County, Illinois.

Chuck attended school in Oskaloosa.

Following school, Chuck went to work for Oskaloosa Food Products. After some time at Oskaloosa Foods, he took a job at Pepsi-Cola (now Mahaska Bottling) in Oskaloosa. He later went to work for Bloom Builders building pole buildings in the area.

Chuck enlisted in the United States Army and served part of his time in Germany.

Upon his discharge from the Army, Chuck returned to Oskaloosa and started his career as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed his career as an over the road truck driver, and drove for various companies.

Chuck enjoyed spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite past times was grabbing a mic and entertaining those around him with his Karaoke talents.

His family includes his two brothers, George Sirovy and Ed (& Kimberly) Sirovy all of Oskaloosa; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Patricia Kirk and Darlene Wright; and four brothers: Johnny Sirovy, Jim Sirovy, Robert Sirovy, and Ronnie Sirovy.

As was Charles wish his body has been cremated.
A private family graveside service will be held.
Burial will be in the Old White Cemetery in Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
