Change at the George Daily Auditorium

George Daily Community Auditorium

OSKALOOSA, IA – After nearly seven years, Jessica Vetter will be leaving her position as Operations Manager at the George Daily Auditorium. She moves on to become the Performing Arts and Leadership Series Assistant at the Auditorium at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC).

In her time as Operations Manager, Jessica expanded the footprint of the George Daily Auditorium by building on a strong donor base, securing grants for various projects and shows, managing box office and ticket sales, and representing the Auditorium with community groups. Vetter also coordinated special events and partnerships with businesses, served on the OACDG Tourism Committee, in the Oskaloosa Rotary Club, and on the Mahaksa Young Professionals Board. Jessica also wrote and edited the original production of Home Again, coordinated guest artist galleries, and much, much more.

“Jessica has fundamentally affected the DNA of the Auditorium,” said Education Director Andy McGuire. “Her organization and expertise have been a major factor in thousands of people engaging in the arts and the community in Mahaska County.”

Executive Director Randall Wright said, “Jessica helped create a stable base for the Auditorium as we celebrated our 20th Anniversary in 2017. She is part of the structure that will help maintain the Auditorium for the next 20 years. She will be sorely missed.”

Jessica’s final day at the Auditorium will be Friday, September 21st. The Auditorium invites anyone from the community to visit throughout the week to wish her well in her future endeavors or send well-wishes to her email at tickets@georgedaily.org.
