Oskaloosa–Kelly Button (Sr., Tucson, Ariz., Business Management) had success on both ends as she was again tabbed as Midwest Collegiate Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Monday.

A three-time winner this fall, Button’s week started by doing great work defensively and offensively. She began the game in goal, keeping Simpson scoreless in 75 minutes. The senior then moved out onto the field and scored the game-winning goal in overtime for her first tally of the year.

The senior finished her week by recording seven saves versus Mount Mercy for her sixth shutout of the season.

For the year, Button is 6-7-3 with a 1.40 Goals Against Average. She has tallied 87 saves.

The award is the third of the year for WPU.
