Beaver’s Top 10 Nets Weekly Award
Oskaloosa–D’Artagnon Beaver (Sr., Rockford, Ill., Human Services) used a fast time against top NAIA competition to garner the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week accolade Monday.
Beaver, who is now a two-time weekly award recipient in cross country, guided William Penn to a top-five finish at the Columbia Larry Young Invitational last Friday.
The senior crossed the line in the 8K race in a time of 25:58.1 to place 10th overall.
It is Beaver’s fastest time of the honor and currently it ranks third among all Heart harriers.
The award is the first for the program in 2024.
