ART ON THE SQUARE 50TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO CONTEST

Calling all Artists
Oskaloosa, IA, November 8, 2017– In Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Art on the Square, a two day event scheduled for June 8-9, 2018, Oskaloosa Main Street is hosting a logo design contest. Entries will be accepted through January 10, 2018. The winning design will be announced January 15th, and used on all 2018 Art on the Square marketing materials.

All entries must adhere to the following guidelines; all art mediums are accepted. Logo shape should be square, a vector file format (digital), 10”X10” minimum size. All entries should include an easily removable “50th Anniversary” element.

Digital submissions may be submitted to AOSLogoContest@gmail.com along with the Artist’s name, address, and phone number. All other formats should be mailed or delivered in person to Oskaloosa Main Street at 222 1st Avenue East, Oskaloosa Iowa with artist’s name, address, email and phone number. All entries must arrive no later than January 10th to be considered. Please allow adequate time for mailed entries to arrive at their destination.

All entries submitted to the Art on the Square 50th Anniversary Logo Contest become the legal property of Oskaloosa Main Street. A press release sharing the winning design will give credit to the artist. The winning design will be chosen by a panel of volunteers. All original entries will be displayed as part of a special exhibit and silent auction during Art on the Square. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit future Art on the Square events.
