GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Jack Hager ’20 has been named the Midwest Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

Hager ’20, a right fielder from Westfield, Ill. (IMG Academy), had a big week for the Pioneers as they opened MWC play by winning three of four from Cornell College.

He hit .471 in that span, going 8-of-17 at the plate with two doubles, two triples, a homer and nine RBIs. He now ranks eighth in program history for career triples with five. Additionally, Hager had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 12 chances.

The Pitcher of the Week is Monmouth College’s Tyler McDonald.
