PELLA — In the final National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III rankings for 2018, the Central College wrestling team stayed at No. 14.

At 133 pounds, senior Cam Timok (Glen Allen, Va., Hermitage HS) is the only Central wrestler to be ranked individually, coming in at No. 5.

Timok has won tournament titles at the Millikin (Ill.) Open and the Milwaukee School of Engineering (Wis.) Invitational. He’s 12-1 on the season, with four falls and one technical fall.

Elsewhere in the American Rivers Conference, Wartburg College is No. 2, Loras College is No. 7 and Coe College is No. 11. In total, 14 wrestlers from the league are ranked in the top-10 of their weight class.

Central returns to action on January 4 with a dual against the University of Ozarks (Ark.) at 2 p.m. inside H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse. The Under Armour Invitational will start at 10 a.m. the following day in the fieldhouse as well.
