Indians Getting Ready For Homecoming Week

Oskaloosa Indians

Homecoming week is September 24th to the 28th. This is a great way to get involved with the school and show your Indian Pride! Our Homecoming theme this year is Osky’s Got Game!

Start off the week strong by supporting the senior girls Powder Puff football teams at Lacey Complex following the JV Football Game. Monday also holds 9th grade, JV, and varsity volleyball at the high school gym.

On Tuesday watch another night of volleyball and join the senior boys while they play Powder Puff volleyball in our high school gym following the conclusion of the varsity volleyball game.

Wednesday night rest up for the next 2 days of Homecoming Week. After school on Thursday, join the community downtown at 6:30 to watch the Homecoming Parade. Any questions about joining the Parade can be addressed to Kim Gile at gilek@oskycsd.org. At the conclusion of the parade make your way down to the Community Stadium for Coronation to see which seniors are named this year’s Homecoming King and Queen, listen to the choir and band, and hear from previous Indians who are ecstatic for the game Friday!

At the end of the school day on Friday, a pep rally is held to pump up the students and faculty of Oskaloosa High School for the game later that night! Kick off is at 7:30 for the big game! Come out and support the Indians to show the Newton Cardinals that Osky’s Got Game!
