Oskaloosa Man Arrested On Drug Charges
On Thursday, August 3rd, 2018, at approximately 5 p.m., the Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office, and the Oskaloosa Police Department arrested 32-year-old Shawn Allen Graham, of 1014 1st Avenue East, Oskaloosa, near the intersection of 8t h Avenue East and Center Street in University Park.Graham was charged with: Possession of more than 5 grams of Methamphetamine with the intent to deliver (class B felony), Possession of Marijuana with the intent to deliver (class D felony), Failure to affix a drug tax stamp (class D felony) and Possession of a firearm as a convicted felon (class D felony).
Graham was taken to the Mahaska County Jail where he was incarcerated without bond. He will make his initial appearance in the Mahaska County District Court later this day.
The Sheriff’s Office and the Police Department were assisted in this investigation by members of the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement drug task force.
The investigation into this matter is continuing.
A criminal charge is merely a criminal charge and not an indication of guilt. All suspects should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
